This post is dedicated to my favorite farm birds.
Latté and Mocha were the two best ducks I have ever had. They were broody girls, always sitting on eggs. The last time I saw them they were both sitting on separate nests, five for Latte, eight for Mocha. In the morning, my mum found latte in the field, very much not alive.
good news is that we made an emergency trip to a friends house with the eggs, and they successfully transferred the living ones into the incubator. They are scheduled to hatch around the eighth, so keep a weather eye on the hatch cam!
