There's always that moment in your life when you stop looking at your dad like the hero you always thought of him as and realize that he is actually an imperfect, selfish human. A kid can only go so far while being ignored. I realize this now that not all of you have or had dads like mine, and I knew mine was messed up a bit, but seriously, that moment that your pa stops acknowledging you really hurts. So here you go dads. No matter what happens at work or at home or how your feeling, always be nice to your child. Even if he/she doesn't want your love and attention right now, it stings when you don't give it when they need it. Believe me I know.
